ABOUT ME
I am a Professor of Information Systems at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I teach students how to evaluate business processes and create technology solutions to meet the ever changing needs of modern businesses.
I have helped numerous business owners for small and medium organizations to understand when to deploy new technologies and when to simply use the technology they have in place. For small businesses that have outgrown their original technology and processes, or for those businesses that feel there must be a better way to accomplish tasks, I can help find solutions to meet those needs.
I grew up watching Star Trek, Buck Rogers, and Knight Rider with promises of what could be accomplished with technology. That promise and my innate nerd drove me into the technology career path. I spent more than two decades learning to refine my ability to define business and operational needs and matching those needs to technical, operational and financial solutions. I also learned of the challenges of rolling out new beneficial technologies and processes to users and organizations if proper training wasn’t provided.
